Overview

Responsible for selling KVH managed and cybersecurity services and related products to both KVH existing customers and new customers in the Americas.   The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B sales, particularly within the Maritime, Managed IT Services and Cybersecurity Compliance. Position is US Remote, preferably East or South Coast.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a demanding, fast-paced sales and marketing environment to generate new revenue from Managed IT and Cybersecurity services.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account engagement plans including initial discovery and customer assessments.
  • Lead the entire sales process for each prospect, coordinating with other KVH resources such as application engineering, operations, support, legal and finance.
  • Participate in regular Team Meetings to coordinate and prioritize efforts.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, specifically in MSP and cybersecurity services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of managed IT services and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong, proactive and profession communication and presentation skills relative to customers as well as internal KVH organizations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ConnectWise Sell.
  • Knowledge of the Maritime Market, Managed IT Services and Cybersecurity Compliance.
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, KVH can not sponsor at this time.
