Some hybrid work available, after completing a full time, onsite  training program at our Middletown, RI location.  Shift:  Days (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities

Field Service Coordinators are key members in KVH’S Global Field Service team. Coordinators are natural problem solvers who coordinate installations and repairs on vessels of all sizes. Field Service Coordinators are responsible for communicating with vessel Captains, Fleet Managers, Service Partners, Port Agents, and internal team members to ensure attendances go off without a hitch. Day-to-day activities may include shipment of spare parts, vetting quotations from qualified Service Partners, issuance of work orders, review of service reports, and processing of payment.

Qualifications

A strong candidate will have-

  • A proven history of an eye for detail and a go-getter attitude.
  • You thrive on teamwork, problem solving, running multiple projects simultaneously, and can shift on a dime if plans change.
  • Excellent written communication and computer skills. This should include a proficiency with standard Microsoft 365 applications and an ability to learn ERP & CRM tools, as needed.
  • Experience with Baan, Kinetic, or Salesforce is a plus.      
  • You can communicate effectively, have a service mindset, and are comfortable navigating cultural differences when they occur.
